The 22nd Annual Professional Development Conference

"A TOUCH OF SILVER IN SOLID GOLD"
Celebrating 25 Years of Service and Unity

Presented by PWA
Date: Tuesday May 22nd, 2018
Time: 8:00am - 3:30pm
Location: UCSB Corwin Pavillion

The Professional Women’s Association (PWA) was founded to foster the engagement of like-minded women and has evolved into an all-inclusive Association, promoting individual growth as well as community involvement. The Association is committed and dedicated to celebrating women's contributions in areas of education & leadership, community service, mentoring, and advocacy, while placing emphasis on our three fundamental pillars: Engage, Empower, and Encourage.

This year marks PWA's 25th Silver Year Anniversary of being a resource for UCSB employees and we are revolutionizing our service to the UCSB community! The 2018 Professional Development Conference will reflect upon the many contributions of our legacy members and all impactfull individuals in laying the foundation that allows us to continue Engaging, Empowering, and Encouraging our members and the community at large.

Don't miss our 22nd annual conference — a day-long event that focuses on professional and personal development through panelists, speakers, and workshops. While many topics are centered around women's interests and issues, everyone is encouraged to attend and benefit from the conference. Through our conference PWA provides the space to network with others around campus and to celebrate our Unsung Hero/ines whose contributions improve our work lives at UCSB. We hope that our conference will provide you with the tools to continue on your path to professional development, mindfulness, and personal growth.

Whether she is consulting with work groups, coaching individuals 1:1, or teaching at the County Jail or Santa Barbara City College, she encourages people to see themselves as capable of accomplishing great things.
