Building a Stronger Self and Community

The Professional Women’s Association (PWA) was founded to foster the engagement of like-minded women and has evolved into an all-inclusive association, promoting individual growth as well as community involvement. This year's Professional Development Conference reflects these values by encouraging professionals and students alike to take action in their own lives as well as in their communities.

Date: Tuesday, May 9th, 2017

Time: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Location: UCSB Corwin Pavilion

The Professional Development Conference reflects the evolution of PWA's vision and commitment to empowering the professional community through career motivation, life balance, support, and service. PWA is committed and dedicated to celebrating women's contributions in areas of Education & Leadership, Community Service, Mentoring, and Advocacy.

PWA  is revolutionizing how we serve the UCSB community! Don't miss our 21st annual conference — a day-long event that focuses on professional and personal development through panelists, speakers, and workshops. While many topics are centered around women's interests and issues, everyone is encouraged to attend and benefit from the conference.

The 2017 PWA Conference is the place to network with others around campus, with our guests and keynote speakers, and to celebrate Unsung Hero/ines. PWA strives to build a day packed with programs that will add value to your life and help you on your professional development path
